Major Responsibilities/ Duties/ Critical Tasks
- The Campus Director will serve as the campus administrator and will be supported by University Academy Central Office Administrators and university faculty.
- The Director will be expected to facilitate daily teaming and project development for all teachers at the campus.
- The Director will fulfill all campus administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, budgeting, student discipline, and personnel supervision in cooperation with the Superintendent.
- Interpret policy and data, coordinate events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree required.
- Standard principal certificate required.
- 3 years of classroom experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience.
- A combination of experience may be accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- T-TESS/ILD Certification.
- Charter school experience.
- Project-based learning experience.
Accompanying Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
- Experience with student information systems (SIS); preferably Skyward and Peoplesoft.
- Critical/Logical thinker, resourceful, and problem-solver.
- Ability to work independently on tasks/projects; use of independent judgment.
- Team player; works towards established character initiatives.

The Declaration of Applicant Form is REQUIRED by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) when the applicant applies, it must
be notarized and included in the application process. A copy of the signed form or
photo of the signed form should be included with the combined documents. Notaries
are available at each campus for the pre-employment affidavit. Applicants can schedule
an appointment to complete the form, and have it notarized by reaching out to the
campus front office for the location where they are applying.
