School Design
The University Academy is a growing university charter school approved by the State Board of Education with campuses in Tyler, Longview and Palestine. The campuses serve grades K-12 and promotes numerous best and promising educational practices. The schools are based on the highly successful T-STEM Academy Blueprint and are centered around project-based learning and blended learning. Teachers at University Academy meet regularly to develop projects, and participate in job-embedded professional development.
